Chloe Madeley and former England Rugby player James Haskell will rent their home on Airbnb to raise money for a children’s charity.
The celebrity couple will be flying out to Japan for the Rugby World Cup which runs 20 September to 2 November and have listed their home for two nights in October for a lucky punter.
Two bedrooms in the detached house in Daventry, in the East Midlands, will be available to verified renters, with all profits going to Sebastian’s Action Trust, a charity which offers respite breaks to seriously ill children and their families.
Guests will also have access to two bathrooms, a large kitchen, and conservatory, while the listing makes it clear that guests would ideally be rugby fans who are keen to support the game.
‘The kitchen area is kitted out with everything you could need to prepare a feast for hungry sports fans whilst the living room features a large comfy sofa and chairs, alongside a big TV, so will be the perfect place to fall back, relax and enjoy the matches,’ writes James.
‘The conservatory backs out onto the garden and has a six-seat dining table which is the perfect place to debrief after any games,’ he added.
‘At the back of the house is a large garden with a stunning lawn, where you can practice drills and skills.’
The living room features a large flat-screen television, perfect for watching England (or your chosen team) score some tries.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, James added: ‘The thing with Airbnb, it is so simple to do and such an easy set-up to utilise. So many people I know are doing it.’
‘When we decided we were going to go to Japan as part of the World Cup, it was kind of a no-brainer really. It was such a simple process and obviously you can earn some income out of it. I am going to donate my fee to a charity called Sebastian’s Action Trust.
‘It’s something to do, it’s to encourage other people who are going abroad or going away to list their house on this platform. It’s such a simple thing, more people could be earning extra income or utilising their empty homes.’
Haskell’s home is bookable on Airbnb from Monday 23 September.
