Katya Jones and Mike Bushell have hugged out their ‘exhausting’ Strictly Come Dancing training session.

The duo were spotted locked in an embrace after leaving the studio, in London, on Wednesday afternoon.

But despite the vigorous workout, they were seemingly in high spirits as they giggled away to one another while saying their goodbyes.

And it looks like they’d had all the fun, as the sports presenter later shared a video with his Instagram followers from one of their rehearsals.

In the short clip he could be seen joking with Kat as he shut himself in a cupboard to take a breather.

While hiding behind a closed door, the 53-year-old pulled a face and muttered: ‘I’m exhausted’.

Katya soon appeared and jokingly demanded him to get back to work as she teased: ‘The straps are waiting’.

Dressed in leggings and an oversized grey top, the professional dancer was pictured still wearing her wedding ring – despite calling off her relationship with Neil Jones earlier this year.

The pair tried to save their marriage after she was pictured kissing her previous celebrity dance partner Seann Walsh.

However, it seems things have proven too much for the couple, who announced their split in August.

Sharing a joint statement, they told their followers: ‘As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news.

‘After 11 years, we have made the mutual decision to separate. We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends.

‘This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.’

They added: ‘Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects.

‘No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.

‘We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing.’
