Kim Kardashian has swapped her prescription medication for CBD oil, and she’s not going back.

It’s tough work being a reality star, let alone having four children to raise who are all under the age of six.

But it seems the proud mum gets through some of her most tiring days with a bit of help from the non-intoxicating chemical, cannabidiol, which is found in the cannabis plant.

When chatting to People magazine, the 38-year-old revealed her little secret that she says helps her relax.

The beauty mogul told the publication: ‘How do I do it all? It is exhausting. I just say CBD. But I do. I really think that has gotten me through a lot.’

But that doesn’t mean the popular fashionista is a weed smoker, as she insists that’s just ‘not her thing’.

‘I got into CBD a few months ago,’ the Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star confessed: ‘It’s saved my life.’

She added: ‘Even to sleep at night. I like the gummies. I will just use a little bit and fall asleep.’

Kim went onto note that her new discovery has meant she no longer has to take prescription drugs.

‘I don’t think I would take a Xanax or an Ambien again,’ the megastar noted.

CBD is popping up across plenty of beauty brands, including Kiehl’s and NYX, as it is purported to have anti-inflammatory properties.

For those not in the know, CBD is one of cannabinoids present in cannabis, alongside tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), but unlike THC, CBD does not produce a high when consumed.

Recently, CBD has found an uptick in popularity, due to its purported effectiveness in relieving pain and anxiety.

Kim has recently been dealing with a number of health battles and was seen breaking down in tears on her reality show as she revealed she has an auto-immune condition called lupus.

However, she later told the ABC Today Show that the condition is ‘under control’.

She stated: ‘I was able to find an amazing doctor, Dr. Wallace, and we figured out what the problem is and I, unfortunately, had to get put on medication to stop the symptoms.

‘I tried everything natural for the longest time and we chose the best route for me, so luckily right now everything is under control, but autoimmune issues are really scary.’
