When it comes to videos we never thought we’d see, this one’s definitely up there… Vin Diesel belted out Flower Of Scotland in an Edinburgh street.
The Hollywood star, 52, took a break from filming scenes for the latest instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise to have a little sing song with the locals – and it’s just weirdly brilliant.
Vin had been filming Fast and Furious 9 in the city’s historic Royal Mile, and has clearly picked up a tradition or two while he was there.
He told fans: ‘Are you from Scotland? Who’s Scottish here, raise your hand. Let me hear you sing it!’, before launching into a rendition of Flower Of Scotland.
Although he might need to work on learning all the words, Vin definitely didn’t lack enthusiasm as he stomped his foot while getting deeply into the rousing song.
As well as getting to have a good old Scottish sing-song with the man himself, fans of the film franchise have also been sharing photos of the supercars that have descended onto the city to be used for filming, too.
Vin will also be joined by John Cena, Michelle Rodrigues, Charlize Theron and, of course, Ludacris, in Fast and Furious 9, which is due to be released next year.
Following a reported fall out between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin, he won’t be returning to the next film – though he did reprise his role in 2019’s Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw alongside Jason Statham.
The late Paul Walker’s character, Brian, may also make a small appearance, as Vin recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo of him with Paul’s brother Cody Walker, who doubled for the star after he died in a car crash mid-way through filming.
